Over the years the installation of blown asbestos in the school's air conditioning duct system and boiler was deemed by the EPA a health hazzrd unless a cleanup of asbestos and repairing in a deterated leaking roof costing over $275,000 in which was too costly to repair, clean up and or deconstruct and rebuild a new school for close to approximately $800,000 to 1,000,000, in which the Coffers for the County and Newtown were empty in the budget to replace or repair the school.
